The pigment are mixed evenly, and the density between solid and liquid falls slowly onto the picture, and then spread out by its own gravity to form a smooth but convex color block. Two or more pigments play on the contact line of each other. The whole process is full of an 'inert aesthetics', which is soothing, heavy and sticky, as Guan Yinfu named one of his works 'slow even slower'.
Guan Yinfu's art is a kind of art that respects, grasps and guides the material nature. He lets pigments, the most common substance for painters, speak in his own way. He strengthens the material volume of pigments and the homogeneity from industry, and generates perceptual forms corresponding to today's material world based on this basic fact. Compared with the increasingly digital and virtual society, they are a little old and outdated, but they have gained a common sense of reality, as a kind of inertia of experience, it has emerged in his works.
